Education
Confirmation Westwood Lutheran Church offers a relational style confirmation program for 7th, 8th, and 9th graders on Wednesday nights, from 6:30-7:30 PM.
Weekly sessions alternate between small group and large group experiences. Large Group is taught by our theologically trained staff and meets in various rooms throughout the building. The Small Group times are mentored by adult Guides who are parents of confirmands or other caring adults.
Curriculum:
7th graders study the Old Testament
8th graders study the New Testament
9th graders study the Small Catechism
Parent/student sermon conversations, fellowship/service events and parent/student learning are a part of the Westwood Confirmation experience for all grades. Click above to find out more information about each grade's curriculum.
