Rick Gardiner
My wife Barb and I we were married at Westwood in the fall of 2007 and together have 2 boys. Our oldest son is currently enrolled in WECC with our youngest soon to follow. I look forward to serving on the WECC Board and getting to know more parents at Westwood and working to ensure the WECC continues to be a place where childhood education and spiritual development come together.

My husband and I are the proud parents of a 2 year old daughter and are excited to welcome our second child in April. We feel so blessed to be able to have both children go to WECC as it is an incredible place with wonderful staff. I am excited to serve on the WECC board to become more involved and meet more WECC families. We have been members of Westwood Lutheran Church for about two years and love all the opportunities the Westwood community offers. I have worked for the Park Nicollet Melrose Institue for roughly eight years.

Dawn Hill
When we were expecting our son fifteen years ago, we knew in theory that we wanted him to attend the WECC, based on what we'd heard from others around church. After using the WECC from the time he was 12 weeks old until two weeks before kindergarten started, we knew in fact that it was one of the best decisions we made for our child. We learned so much about parenting from the fabulous teachers in every room, and our son made strong friendships and was ready for kindergarten. Now it's my chance to give back. We've been members of Westwood since 1985, and I value the role that the WECC plays in the life of the church and the vision that Marilyn brings to this ministry. My family consists of my husband and our son. I'm employed as a vice president in corporate trust at a large bank, and spend Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings singing in the A Cappella Choir here at Westwood.

Joyce Mundahl
I gladly serve on the board in appreciation for all that the WECC did for our family when my sons, now teenagers, attended from infancy through kindergarten. My husband and I learned so much about parenting and nurturing from all the wonderful and knowledgeable WECC staff. We are so grateful for this Christ-centered environment available to us during the early childhood years.
I am an optometrist at Northwest Eye Clinic with a special interest in contact lenses and pediatric vision care. I enjoy reading, baking, crossword puzzles, and traveling with my family.

Jenny Winkler
As a parent board member of the WECC, I am so grateful for the excellent child care our children receive (and have received) at WECC. I very much appreciate the nurturing Christian community of Westwood Lutheran where my children can grow and develop. My oldest son has graduated from the Kindergarten room, my middle oson is currently in the Preschool II room, and my youngest son will be startinig at Westwood as soon as he is old enough to join the Preschool I room. We are members at Westwood Lutheran, having joined this fall after we got to know the Church through WECC. I work as a lawyer, and in my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and traveling.

Paul Wogen
The Westwood Early Childhood Center provides a very high quality Christian environment for the children it serves and I am pleased to have been asked to serve on the board. Carole and I have been members of the Westwood family since 1975 and I've had opportunities to serve in many areas over the years, including work with children, confirmation students and youth, church council, choir and the Westwood Foundation. I am an IT Project Manager with UnitedHealth Group and I enjoy singing in two choirs, playing golf and reading.
