Communication Team
Task: This team will serve to help invite, connect and grow Westwood's ministry. Each member will use his/her talents and resources to update the style and presence of various internal/external communication projects. Celebration Assemblers Ages: Adults

Employee Recognition Ministry Team
Task: Support H. R. Advisory Group for employee recognition event and length of service awards in October of each year. Finance and Human Resource Advisory Groups

Holiday Fair
Task: This annual event calls on all church members and friends to participate in exciting opportunities for raising grant monies to help fund local and international ministries. Needs include: crafters, bakers, set-ups, servers, greeters, merchandisers, promoters. Contact: Audrey Wittnebel 763-550-3985
Indoor Plant Ministry Team
Task: Water indoor plants weekly, maintain plants by trimming, fertilizing, etc. Contact: Linnea Sodergren 952-933-2553, linnea.sodergren@thrivent.com
New Member Class Hosts
Task: Attend New Member Class to help with hospitality; welcoming and getting to know our newest Westwood family members. Contact: Pastor Tania Haber 952-767-5565, t.haber@westwoodlutheran.org
Outdoor Gardening Ministry Team
Task: Seasonal planning of gardens, water and mulch plants, maintain plants by trimming, fertilizing, splitting. Maintain garden soils, perform clean-up of gardens in spring and fall, provide minor landscape planning support. Contact: Linda and Gordon Meyer 952-544-2510, gnlmeyer@aol.com
Properties Team
Task: Assess and address maintenance issues with volunteer labor, review bids for items (i.e. parking lot repairs, mud-jacking), assist with annual Spring clean-up and occasional event set-ups. Quilters
Task: Make quilts throughout the year to be donated to various ministries. Materials are provided and donations are gladly accepted. Contact: Karen Pitkanen 952-440-5908
Stewardship Team

Sunday Hospitality Hosts
Ages: Jr. High (w/parent)-Adult/Families
Task: Host fellowship time between worship services; set-up table cloths, cups, treats, water; serve or supervise during fellowship time; clean up afterwards. Maintenance staff makes coffee, treats are provided. Other foods may be used.
