Acolytes Ages: Grade 7-9
Task: Serve as acolytes, crucifer and communion assistant for traditional worship services. Carry the processional cross or candles in and out of the sanctuary; gather communion cups; light and extinguish candles as needed for worship. Acolyte/Communion/Pastoral Robe Care Age: Adults

Art Ministry Age: Adults
Task: Receive and display pieces of quality art that proclaim God’s glory; create an attractive, neat and worshipful setting throughout building; inform the congregation about art in the building; annually review condition of the art. Contact: Sally Enstrom 952-546-3741, sjenst2524@aol.com
Assisting Ministers Ages: 16-Adult

Communion Preparers Ages: Confirmed-Adult

Concert Greeters/Ushers Ages: Grade 7-Adult

Greeters Ages: Grades 1-6 (with parents)-Adults

Lectors/Readers Ages: Grade 5-Adult
Task: Read 1-2 assigned biblical texts for (9 AM or 10:30 AM) worship; enter and exit worship as part of the processional/recessional; practice the readings in advance to provide optimal effectiveness, clarity, and understanding for worshipers. PowerPoint Operator Team Ages: Grade 10-Adult

Ushers Ages: Grades 1-6 (with parents), Grade 7-Adult
Task: Welcome all entering worship (9 AM or 10:30 AM) services, ensure worship bulletins are distributed, be alert for any special needs of worshipers, help with logistical worship needs as directed by the worship coordinator. Worship Environment Team Age: Adults

Worship Coordinators Age: Adults
Task: Ensure that scheduled worship leaders are present and understand their individual roles, anticipate and resolve logistical problems that may arise in preparing for worship; communicate with other volunteers. A Cappella Choir Ages: Adults 18+

Alleluia Choir Ages: Early childhood (age 2-Kindergarten)
Task: The Early Childhood Music program meets weekly and prepares anthems to sing in worship once a month. Its emphasis is on worship, singing, rhythm, and body movement. Parents are encouraged to participate. Contact: Jennifer Mohr, mrsjenmohr@yahoo.com
Cantemus Choir Ages: Grade 7-12
Task: This choir practices weekly in preparation for singing at all worship services, 1-2 times per month. They learn sacred choral repertoire, hymns, and liturgy as needed to lead worship; sing mixed 2-, 3-, and 4-part music in a variety of musical styles. Choristers Ages: Grade 4-6
Task: This choir sings at traditional worship services1-2 times per month. They learn sacred choral repertoire, hymns, and liturgy as needed to lead worship. 2-3 part singing is refined and good vocal techniques continue to be stressed. Hosanna Choir Ages: Grade 1-3

Westwood Ringers Ages: Grade 9-Adult
Task: This hand bell choir meets weekly to prepare for worship once a month. They participate in both worship services as assigned; prepare hand bell anthems and occasional accompaniments for hymns. Music-reading skills recommended. Contact: Sharon Barton 763-537-7814, organist37@yahoo.com
Westwood Wind Ensemble Ages: Grade 8–Adult

Worship Team Vocalists Ages: Grade 9-Adult

Sanctuary Straightening Ages: Grade 1-Adult
Task: Straightening chairs and light dusting in sanctuary to provide basic care and maintenance of the sanctuary. Straighten and resupply hymnal rack materials once or twice a month

Seasonal Worship Planning Team Ages: Grade 10-Adult

Soundboard Operator Ages: Grade 7-Adult

Task: This team create a video recording of one of the worship services each Sunday as well as specified other events. Operate cameras, video board, edit, and distribute recordings to cable companies. Training provided for tasks of interest.
